Temporary Residence

The applicants for a Temporary Residence in Guatemala have to present the completed application form to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Guatemala.

Require Documents

1. Original passport and authenticate photocopy .
2. Certification of validity and good standing of the applicant passport, issued by the competent authority of your country of origin or by the Embassy or Consulate of your country of residence.
3. Two resent pictures.
4. Proof of absence of criminal record issued by the competent authority in your country of origin or in the country (countries) you have lived during the past five years. If in such countries this document is not issued, the applicant most provide a written proff of its denial.
5. A Money Order to the name of "Embassy of Guatemala", for $50.00 (US dollars).
6. Registered prepaid envelope with the complete return address to send your documents back when ready.
